What Arborist Report Do I Need?
The type of arborist report required will depend on the stage of your project and what Council or the consent authority has requested.
An Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) is generally required when development plans have been prepared and the potential impacts on existing trees need to be assessed.
A Preliminary Arboricultural Report (PAR) can be prepared earlier in the design process to identify tree constraints and help inform the location and design of proposed development.
If Council has requested an arborist report and you are unsure which assessment is required, Bark & Branch Consulting can review the request and advise you on the appropriate report.
